Tournament Rules

1. Tournament Structure

The platform hosts tournaments where players compete through predictions of their own gameplay results in Dota 2. Participants earn points for successful predictions and compete through leaderboard rankings.

2. Participation Types

3. Participation Fees

Some tournaments may require a participation fee. This fee represents the cost of participation in the tournament service organized by the platform.

4. Prize Structure

All prizes are guaranteed by the platform organizer and are announced before the tournament begins. Prize amounts do not depend on the number of players participating in the tournament.

5. Minimum Participants

Each tournament may define a minimum number of participants required for the tournament to begin. If this threshold is not reached the tournament may be cancelled.

6. Minimum Predictions for Leaderboard Qualification

Each tournament defines a minimum number of eligible predictions a participant must submit to qualify for the prize leaderboard. Submitting fewer predictions than this threshold means the participant may still compete but will not be ranked for prizes.

This requirement ensures that tournament outcomes reflect consistent performance across multiple matches rather than a single result, reducing the influence of any individual match outcome.

7. Refunds

If a tournament is cancelled before it begins, participation fees are refunded except for non-recoverable payment processing costs.

8. Fair Play

9. Gameplay Requirement

Predictions apply only to matches played by the participant and must meet the rules defined for the tournament category.

10. Scoring

A participant's score is calculated as the ratio of correct predictions (wins) to their total predictions submitted during the tournament. For example, a participant with 6 correct predictions out of 10 total has a score of 60%.

11. Ranking and Tiebreakers

Leaderboard rankings are determined in the following order:

12. Organizer Rights

The platform may modify or cancel tournaments if necessary to maintain fair competition or resolve technical issues.

13. Registration Deadline

To ensure fair participation, registration for a tournament closes automatically when the remaining tournament time is insufficient for a participant to complete the minimum required predictions.

For example, if a tournament requires a minimum of 5 eligible predictions, registration closes when fewer than 5 hours remain before the tournament ends. This prevents late entries that would have no reasonable path to qualifying for the prize leaderboard.

14. Eligible Predictions

A prediction counts as eligible only if it is made on a solo queue match — party or group matches do not qualify. The participant is not required to submit a prediction for every match they play. Choosing when to submit a prediction is part of the competitive strategy.

15. Turbo Mode and Queue Type Verification

Turbo mode matches are only available in tournaments that explicitly allow party queue. Solo-only tournaments are restricted to Ranked and All Pick modes. This limitation exists because Turbo matches do not reliably report queue type (solo or party), making it impossible to verify compliance with solo-only rules.
