Legal Overview
Solo Challenges is a skill-based competition platform where participants compete through their own gameplay performance.
Skill-Based Competition
This platform hosts skill-based entertainment challenges where participants compete through their own gameplay activity in MOBA titles such as Dota 2. Outcomes depend on the participant's individual skill, game knowledge, and strategic decision-making.
Participants predict only their own victories in matches they play themselves, in solo queue only — no party or coordinated group play qualifies. A prediction is not required for every match: participants choose strategically when to submit a prediction, which further rewards game knowledge and situational awareness over chance.
Randomness is additionally mitigated by a minimum match requirement to qualify for the prize leaderboard. A single match outcome does not determine a tournament result — consistent performance across multiple matches is required to compete for prizes.
Tournament Participation
The platform organises entertainment competitions and skill challenges within MOBA games. It is not a sportsbook, casino, or wagering service. Participants do not bet on third-party matches or external events — all predictions relate exclusively to the participant's own gameplay.
Tournaments may be free to enter or may require a participation fee. Fee-based tournaments represent access to an organised competition service. All prize amounts are fixed and announced before a tournament begins, and do not depend on the number of participants.
Platform Classification
This platform operates as an entertainment and skill challenge service for competitive gaming communities. Competitions are structured around individual player performance and verified gameplay data sourced from public game APIs.
The platform does not offer odds, does not accept bets on external events, and does not operate a casino or lottery. Entry fees, where applicable, represent the cost of participating in an organised challenge with a pre-announced prize structure.
Prizes
Prizes are guaranteed and funded by the platform organizer, not pooled from participant fees. Prize amounts are fixed and announced before a tournament begins and do not depend on the number of participants. Participants do not compete for a shared prize pool — the prize structure is pre-defined and independent of participation volume.
Tournament Cancellation
A tournament may be cancelled if the minimum number of participants required for that tournament category is not reached. In such cases participation fees are refunded except for non-recoverable payment processing costs.
Participant Verification
The platform applies eligibility checks through linked Steam accounts. Additional identity verification is required for prize payouts above applicable thresholds. For full details, see the Verification & Eligibility Policy.
Platform Integrity
The platform enforces a one-account-per-participant rule, verifies results against public gameplay data, and monitors prize activity for integrity purposes. For full details, see the AML & Integrity Policy.
